Tochi Ajike was thrown into a state of fear and confusion in 2020 when her 18-month-old son David (a pseudonym), still couldn’t make any sounds – not even babbling. Instead what he did was rock back and forth, spin in circles, and cry for no apparent reason.

In Nigeria (West Africa), Ibiene spotted one of these rare types. Her name is Beauty Kumesine, a public advocate for the identification and rehabilitation of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related developmental disorders.
In commemoration of the World Autism Awareness Day, which holds on the 2nd of April every year, Blazing Heart Autism Centre hosts an annual awareness event. This year's event was The Autism Awareness Breakfast Dialogue. The awareness event which was tagged; Inclusion Revolution: Building a Neurodiverse System was a free event and the first of its kind in the autism community.
